Small Group Colosseum and Ancient Rome

by visiting the famous stadium and walking the streets of the Roman Forum in the footsteps of senators and emperors.  After meeting the rest of your small group and your expert friendly guide, you will make your way to the special group entrance. Once inside the Colosseum, you will learn all about the amazing lives of the gladiators and the many different (and deadly) weapons they used, all while soaking in the incredible architecture from the best viewpoint in the arena. We will walk around the colossal structure where ancient Romans used to cheer on their heroes, gamble and marvel at the exotic animals from all parts of the enormous Roman Empire.

Follow your guide as you walk into the Roman Forum, the heart and soul of the ancient city with many of its most important temples and political buildings. Passing the grand Senate House, and the temple and resting place of Julius Caesar, you will learn all about Ancient Roman life. We continue up to the Palatine Hill to see the palace of the Emperors and even get a view of the Circus Maximus as we make our way to the Stadium of Domitian where we conclude the tour.  If you choose a tour earlier in the day you may remain inside the Forum and Palatine Hill until closing in order to explore at your leisure.
