Rome at Night Walking Tour

this tour shows you some of the most famous monuments, all illuminated brilliantly as you’ve never seen them before.  Rome at night is full of beautiful views, strong flavours and soft music floating through the air, lending the city a romantic and magical feel. The historic centre is full of incredible monuments, both ancient and modern, with recent restoration works, improved lighting techniques and a cooler temperature making the evening a perfect time to explore the city. Beginning at Piazza Spagna to see the world renowned Spanish Steps, through the English Quarter and on to the beautiful Trevi Fountain. The fountain is even more majestic after dark and your guide will even give you time to toss in a coin. 

From here it’s past the Temple of Hadrian on the way to the incredible Pantheon, still in use since its construction in the 2nd century.  Piazza Navona is our next stop to see Bernini’s amazing fountains and learn the history of the square from its ancient origins. We then pass Largo Argentina, the notorious location of the assassination of Julius Caesar, on our way to our final stop in Piazza Venezia in the heart of the city to see the Vittoriano or Altar of Peace, a brilliantly large landmark which has become synonymous with images of Rome.
